Fumigation

Fumigation is the process by which international transport containers (e.g. containing rice, cocoa, tree trunks, etc.) are treated with chemical pesticides against mould or vermin that could affect the cargo.

Transport S’Jegers has installed its own fumigation (gas exposure and degassing) area at the Kallo site (Sint-Jansweg, Kaai 1555), where containers are also stored, and there is a refuelling system for the fleet.
